68. US Secretary of State John Kerry to chair WTTC global summit

Secretary Kerry has led on strategies on nuclear nonproliferation and countering extremism, and in 2015 signed the Paris Agreement on climate change on behalf of the United States

In 2021, he became the first Special Presidential Envoy for Climate and the first member of the National Security Council to focus exclusively on climate issues.

A decorated Vietnam War veteran, Kerry was awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star with Combat V and three Purple Hearts.

Kerry is a bestselling author and in 2024 was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his lifetime commitment to public service.

Australian conservationist and television personality Robert Irwin will also take to the Perth stage. A wildlife warrior, Irwin is also a producer, author and photographer, known internationally for his work on behalf of the natural world.
