One person has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following an incident in Pakuranga Heights this afternoon.

St John said they were called to Jade Ave at 3.45pm on Friday.

Two rapid response units and one ambulance were sent to the scene. One person was taken to Middlemore Hospital.

A Jade Ave resident said: Herald Police cordoned off the street after a report of a stabbing.

The police informed Herald were investigating after an injured man was found outside a home in Pakuranga Heights.
