BBA hosts Fall College Night on Sept. 9 | Community-news

On Monday, September 9, the Burr and Burton School Counseling Office will host their annual Fall College Night. This year’s keynote speaker will be Sue Willard, Associate Director of Admissions at Hobart and William Smith.

Willard will provide insight into the college search and decision process before the counselors provide topical information relevant to the specific grades in attendance during breakout sessions. Willard earned a bachelor’s degree in history from William Smith College in 1999 and completed the education program. After earning a master’s degree in history and serving as a graduate assistant soccer coach at Washington College, she returned to William Smith as assistant coach for the Herons in 2001.

From there, Willard went on to coach soccer at both the NCAA Division I and III levels, before rejoining HWS in the Office of Admissions. BBA’s Fall College Night begins at 6:30 pm in Founders Hall. The program’s intended audience is high school juniors, seniors, and their parents and guardians. The public is also invited. For questions, please contact the School Counseling Office at 802-549-8242.
