ABOUT THE ROLE

Lake Imaging is looking for Accounts Receivable Manager join our Geelong team. You will play a key role in managing and overseeing the financial, administrative and clerical functions of the Accounts Receivable team. Your key responsibilities include ensuring the efficient processing and collection of accounts receivable and patient claims, as well as leading the team to achieve financial goals.

In this role, you will also be responsible for compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. You will be an integral part of supporting Lake Imaging operations with your expertise in payment processing, debt management, adjustments and refunds.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Payment Processing:Oversee daily payment reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions, including Bpay, Direct Credits and other payment methods, are processed correctly.
  • Invoicing and issuing invoices:View daily billing lists, manage invoicing and track accounts
  • Management of overdue debtors: Monitor debt collection reports, manage debt collection processes for different debtor groups in line with financial requirements.
  • Adjustments and Returns:Analyze and monitor returns, manage the Returns Register and effectively resolve returns issues.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily revenue reports, bank reconciliation information, accounts receivable team reports, and monthly reports on key performance areas.
  • Customer service:Supporting staff and management with billing related queries and investigating and resolving customer queries
  • Personnel management: Lead and support the Accounts Receivable team, including recruitment, staff training and ongoing performance management.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience as a Director of Accounts Receivable in the healthcare industry (highly valued but not required)
  • Experience in team management and implementing process improvements
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time with a constant flow of work and strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated effective planning, organizing, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
  • Can-do attitude
